What is it like to be Out-of-Body? Phenomenal accounts of experiencers

چکیده

By using the descriptions of Out-of-Body experiences 13 participants, we aimed to have a picture what it is like be in this particular state consciousness. All information was grouped according following topics: consciousness status, self-boundaries, object perception, color other types perceptions, interactions with people or beings, emotions, and time movement perception. From first-person accounts, emerges very different way perceive know respect perception constrained by brain sensory organs. Overall, participants reported positive feelings, status characterized high level self-awareness without ability almost all modalities, living timeless dimension.
